In DC, barbers are required to have 1500 hours of training to receive licensing. Tuition runs 9k-15k. We need to talk about "yoga teacher trainings."

I've had the good fortune to teach contortion to Pole Dancers the past couple of months at Pole Pressure in downtown DC. as most of you know, I have a great love of performance art-- especially burlesque and circus. It's been fantastic working with these athletes, performers, and artists.

Putting the finishing touches on an Ashtanga Practice Intensive-- a deep dive into the history, philosophy, pedagogy. In-person, on-line, and for those interested, includes Mysore. Right around 300 hours, but really, a whole lifetime of study.
