My grandmother on my Mom's side, circa 1947-- 17 years old? Does anyone else see a resemblance?

A picture of my Dad when he was younger. They all call him "Big Mike." My Aunt Karin has been collecting, cleaning up, scanning, and saving pictures of our family. I'm so grateful for her archiving work.
Funny for me, my nickname in Goa this year was the same as my Dad's. I've always been little mike or just plain mike. Looks like my dad was little mike once, too.

My parents were small business owners. My wonderfully successful brother, too. It would be a real shame if locally owned, independent, SMALL businesses went under because of unscrupulous opportunists.

Home practice, at the folks. It's rainy, and kinda has a chill. Reminds me of Goa just before dawn.
My body is stiff from sleeping outside on the ground. I normally do standing at home. Today? I decided to enjoy the challenge of chattering aunts, roaming little cousins, and the less-than-strong coffee Dad makes.
I'll be practicing yoga all day, with a loving family with diverging opinions on every subject you can have an opinion on.
