I'm so excited. The album sampler is filled with grooves, melody, and tracks with proper donks. Also: love the vocal.
Goggle shaped bruises. Charming.
There is a fucking camera on the day I'm wearing my goggles. Fuck me.
I knew it.
All day eating sweets means I'm having lasik tomorrow. Or it's just another day. But probably the laser.
A 6-month "cleanse" on all "yoga" internet trafficking? No blogs, no elephant journal, no message boards, no youtubes. Good mental hygiene or unrealistic?
NFL Remonstration #5:
"The news that former Missouri defensive end Michael Sam is gay holds significant social and cultural ramifications. But from a purely football perspective, his decision to come out prior to May's NFL draft will make his path to the league daunting, eight NFL executives and coaches told SI.com.
In blunt terms, they project a significant drop in Sam's draft stock, a publicity circus and an NFL locker room culture not prepared to deal with an openly gay player. Sam, the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, was projected as a mid- to late-round draft pick prior to his announcement.
While none of the executives overtly condemned Sam's decision, their opinions illuminated an NFL culture in which an openly gay player -- from the draft room to the locker room -- faces long odds and a lonely path."

Laughter after backbends. Eat your heart out, M. Night.
Well, "Gone Girl" was excellent. Truly a page turner.
"Our hearts beating fast
And my body cries
I want it to last
It's burning inside
We're getting deeper "

"For something to be a discipline, one must be disciplined."
Definitely just the coffee. Oof.
Too much coffee? Deepest backbends of my life? Kundalini awakening? wtf was that?
Sharath said to turn off my electronics a half hour before bed. Then, sleep will come. #fail

Can't sleep... Wondering if Ushikawa is really Ignacious Reily.
Apparently we weren't all in agreement about the whole "leave the house at 4" thing. Ha!
Wake at 3, practice at 4:15. Nap from 6:45-8:45. Find breakfast. Find lunch. Eat fruit & yogurt. Sleep. Color inside the lines.
Somehow, a week and a half of my Facebook posts had their privacy settings set to "only me". If I was hacked, they clearly were sending a message.
It's gonna be 90f later, but right now it's 63! Brr! (4am fun times)

Under the covers at 6pm--listening to Shakira and reading think pieces. Left handed tantra sounds good at 7 weeks in. Ready for deep bass & sweat in 8 more.
Had a different kinda Shankranti this year-- but still great good and still great friends. xo
Waking up at 3am for the next month and a half reminds me this is not vacation.
Put a tiger in your tank.
The mighty duck likes peanut butter cookies.
"I thought I told ya, babe" "What goes around comes back around." Futuresex/Lovesounds is one heckuva ep.
The fact that Spotify, unlike hulu, works in India is a freakin' revelation.
"the siddhis are essential to achieving samadhi, which is the true power ... to deny them [the siddhis] is to deny your ultimate freedom. You can only step beyond these powers once you've acquired them. Renouncing them beforehand, as many practitioners of yoga do, mimics yet forestalls the true liberation... In addition, renouncing the siddhis, as some yoga teachers today advocate, keeps you powerless, and perpetuates your suffering as a victim." --Yoga, Power, and Spirit: Patanjali the Shaman, Alberto Villodo, Ph.D
Imran, the cocowalla, had my mat. Life is good.
Hoping my mat is in the changing room (since I seem to have lost it).
"Relax a little."
Listening to the new Beyonce and getting some Joi "Starkitty"/"Pendulum Vibe" spiritual successor-ness.

"Don't think. Go."
"For better or worse, the areas that Fives explore do not depend on social validation; indeed, if others agree with their ideas too readily, Fives tend to fear that their ideas might be too conventional. History is full of famous Fives who overturned accepted ways of understanding or doing things (Darwin, Einstein, Nietzshce). Many more Fives, however, have become lost in the Byzantine complexities of their own thought processes, becoming merely eccentric and socially isolated."
Here's to a little fun in 2014. Go get 'em, Tiger.
