Susan Sloane interviews strong woman in leadership --and beautifully captures the conversation. Her book, "A Seat at the Table," where you can find this wonderful collection, was just released.
This is the start of an excerpt series:
"Looking at this past year, I am fortunate that I embarked on a journey to write the stories of these women and share why gender-diversified leadership is imperative for our world. It is a happy birthday, indeed. And while there will be no party in this quarantine, Iâll cry if I want to. Happy tearsâfor the goodness in humanity shall prevail."

@[5106089:2048:Victoria Paterson Shade] said it better than I could: "All right, this Susan G. Komen Foundation vs. Planned Parenthood thing has not been fun to watch, but this latest news that Komen is breaking their own supposed policy to give $7.5 million to Penn State in spite of their own federal investigation just takes the cake. Komen, wouldn't it be easier to just admit you're a conservative organization, incorporate that into your mission, and go about your goals more legitimately? I bet there are a lot of conservatives out there who would donate to your BECAUSE you're conservative. This PR storm is just a mess."

The really interesting thing here, I think, is the 1 in 5 statistic for those who have tried to take their own life. I'd not be surprised if the numbers were the same here in the USA. Also: One in Four seems low for the "beaten up" statistic.
