Here's some fun from an art installation in DC-- I'm teaching a workshop on Saturday at Kali Yoga that'll include this posture! (tech lighting not included)
A combo of tutorial and art-play.
You must separate the artist from the art-- but also, be alert to media's narrative constructions.

I love it when my friends make things.

stories?
The stories and events featured in this exhibition
are both important and familiar. The three episodes-
the life of Pocahontas, the Trail of Tears, and the
Battle of Little Bighorn-remain an active part of
national life and conversations. They have unique
staying power.
Each generation of Americans decides all over again
what the events mean. George Armstrong Custer
was a hero until he wasn't. Andrew Jackson and
Pocahontas are not the same people our parents
and grandparents remember. History keeps
changing because Americans keep changing it.
