was able to roll his right hip down and tuck his tailbone down in an unsupported hanumanasana today!
On solstices and equinoxes we do a 108 sun salutations in the yogic tradition. During medaitation, when I'm silently spinning the beads on my mala, I have 108 beads before my guru bead.
But why? When one of my student's asked, I gave a few of the stock answers I knew off the top of my head (proportionate distance between the sun, most common denominators, etc).

has officially started his peak performance project.
Ho hum. I suppose we can act like this is 100% true. I stand on my hands professionally, so I reckon it kinda counts. I'm more of a gym bummy.

went kayaking in Long Beach and then took a yoga class with live guitars and harmoniums.
floated into handstand for the first time ever.

has a kickass schedule: 10 miler, then an hour long timed practice (looooooove my new round timer!), shower, back to back classes (lets have fun with Locust!), and then ... Deadmau5.
changed plans: practice backbends till the rain stops, then run.
is practicing hard for the next two hours. Wish my backbends luck!

Has officially worn his hamstrings, adductors, & lateral rotators out. Oh, and his back is exhausted, too.
