another: My grandma grew up on sets as
a background actor. Would tell stories of
them dressing her at 8 to play a slave in
their lil golden age movies
She kept her SAG insurance up to her
death bc she got to keep working in bg.

Say what you will about Tyler Perry, I
won't dispute any of it, but when my
grandma was in her 80s she had a bit
role on one of his shows that kept her
insured. AMPTP's complete disregard
of how people survive is so gross
