Sometimes, you practice in the bathroom of the changing room and accept that as your penance.

Ahhhh! So this explains the extended celebration: It's Shankranti-- the Harvest festival celebrated all over India, though its named differently from state to state. Ganesh calls it 'thanksgiving' to mother earth.
As many of you know, I abhor groupons... But a weekend at the Satchitananda Ashram from 1/2 off would likely do both you & the ashram a favor. I know I'd like to go for a weekend. May, anyone? bit.ly/ywRCSQ
