Today, I taught my last class of the year. It was also that last class before I leave for India. I’m going to miss my students… a lot.

My dear friend @[828559683:2048:Peg Mulqueen] will teaching morning mysore at @[100002872044890:2048:Ashtanga Mysore Arlington Virginia] while I kick it with @[1310954015:2048:Tova Steiner] in Mysore. Take a look at Peg’s letter– as my students know, she’s a huge inspiration to me. I hope you get some, too 😉 http://us2.campaign-archive2.com/?u=c6c1f5be789ffc27d899456ce&id=1250b4a6da&eo=8392647d2a
A Lifetime of Practice: Conference with Sharath in Mysore December 2011
Really, Tadasana? You’re changing? When I press my ankles bones firmly into one another, something *happens* now. It’s like yoga 101 up in here.
How efficient can I be? Bhekasana in an hour & a half? Fingers crossed. ( PS: back on the grid)
Takin’ pleasure in other folks’ bravery. You come. #mysore
Pashasana & Back Squats don’t mix.
Bummer: Tomorrow’s my last day practicing with David Keil (its been great). Silver Lining: on to Antonella Accinelli. 46 days till India.
Self Yoga Coaching: Recording my Primary Series Practice to Richard Freeman’s commentary, then watching a split screen of us together. (I may have gone off the deep end)
Funny, I lift by myself and practice in a group– a change from three months ago. Before you (I) judge my lack of morning mysore practice, I have to remember that Urdhva Dhanurasana is not the only way to feel Kundalini rise– and that I will miss my weightlifting whilst in mysore.
