Each of us has a perspective that is informed by where we are at any given time. Here, quite literally, the golden hour looks different than it does in America. The light hits the earth in a different kind of way... Colors take on a different vibrancy. Scattered everywhere throughout India are places of worship. In Goa, a former Portuguese colony, the places of worship are more Christian, but in Mysire, they're strongly Hindu. So similar but also so different. It makes me think about how the same we all are, but how much we are shaped by our past. How can you describe a sunset without taking into account these things? What about God? How can anyone ever think they truly know anything?
