stayed at 60% of max in my practice today, focusing on breath. Back is sore from Wednesday’s front squads– those vinyasas I couldn’t take I’m giving to Peggy.
Not unlike my time spent at the ashram, I managed to accidently sleep through pranayama. Well hello, 6:40.
Stuck the landing in bhujapidasana. Kept my feet behind my head all the way up from supta kurmasana. Didn’t pause on my way to kukuatasana. All firsts.Today was a big day 🙂
So today: taught all my regular classes, took a bikram class (rewarded for my Karma Yoga!), instantly got a new phone to replace my dead phone, and introduced Ashtanga (breath, focal point, & locks) to a fellow athlete.
Bikram yoga eviscerated my allergies– though, lets not speak of the gross brownish-black sleep that came out of my tear ducts.
