Make the breath sound pleasant. Breathing is an inherently pleasurable activity-- it means you're not dead yet. And, the reality is, we're all dying. But not here. Not now. Not yet. You know how pleasant breathing is when you can't-- and it's good to practice making it pleasant, even when it seems like you can't possibly. Try any way. Try. It might be useful, to be pleasant on the inside when you can't take another.
