Winter · 1 entry

Such a good time last night!

I drove up to Mary's and got there a little before seven. Mary lives with Billy Tibbs, who I played football with in High School, and I hadn't seen him since January of Freshman year. Isn't that crazy? Its actually been just about that long since I've seen Stacy, too.

Mary and Stace were out getting pedicures, so Billy and I chatted and made ourselves drinks, then when the girls arrived home, we all decided to make our way to the grocery store for chasers and what not. We decided to get a few bicardi mixers, and I grabbed the correct corresponding fruits to adorn the glasses with, as well as to blend in.

Fatty pride kicked in, and we landed at Taco Bell after the grocery store. Then Donut Connection. Kelsey, Mary's younger sister was out with us, and it turns out she's in 6th grade-- which makes her about 11. Thats when Mary and I met, 6th grade. Scary thought, the realization that Mary and I have been friends for ten years now. Tibbs and I met in 4th grade, Stacey in 6th. We've been friends for a very, very long time.

And, amazingly, it was like nothing had changed. We've all grown up so much in the past few years, yet we still have that special invisible bond that hasn't done anything but grow.

Unconditional love is amazing. I'm blessed.
