The Amiga Graphics Archive is a curated collection of pixel art and graphics created on or for the Commodore Amiga computer, launched in 1985. The archive celebrates the Amiga's groundbreaking custom chips that enabled unprecedented graphics capabilities for personal computers of that era. The site documents applications, artists, games, logos, and publications, with ongoing updates adding rare and restored images.

Teaching:
• Use the Amiga's constraint-driven creativity as a metaphor for working within the Ashtanga system—limited forms generating infinite expression
• Frame breath counting and drishti as the custom chips of practice: simple mechanisms that enable complex coordination
• Teach students that mastery within constraints (like fixed sequences) mirrors how Amiga artists achieved beauty within technical limits
• Apply the archive's curation principle to practice: quality over novelty, depth over breadth in exploring postures

Writing seeds:
• Essay comparing Ashtanga's fixed sequence to pixel art constraints: how limitation enables rather than restricts creative expression
• Post on practice as restoration work—like recovering badly scaled images, we restore our embodied systems to their original capacity
• Piece on custom chips as metaphor for pranayama and bandhas: invisible subsystems that enable visible performance
• Article on archival thinking in practice: what gets preserved, what gets lost, how we curate our own movement history

Idea map:
• Connects to systems literacy through hardware architecture—understanding the subsystems (custom chips) that enable surface phenomena
• Reinforces embodiment theme: the Amiga's custom chips are like proprioceptive systems, invisible mechanisms coordinating visible output
• Extends attention work: pixel-level precision in art mirrors breath-level precision in practice, both requiring sustained focus
• Links to practice as method: the archive documents constraint-based creativity, like Ashtanga's fixed forms generating individual expression
